Rev. Kenny Garrett

Rev. Kenny Garrett has been the Pastor of the General Baptist Church God’s House of Prayer, located in Fairborn, Ohio since 2018. Kenny has been an ordained General Baptist Minister since 2011. He pastored the First General Baptist Church of Dayton, Ohio and oversaw the change of that church into Renewal International Pentecost Church, a congregation that has immigrated to Dayton, Ohio from Burundi Africa.

Pastor Kenny started Feeding Fairborn when the COVID-19 pandemic first started in Ohio around March 2020. He works as the head cook and the taste tester along side some very dedicated Christian people that put a lot of effort into finding the quantity of food that is needed, cooking that food, packaging the meals, and cleaning up the mess.

If you talk to Kenny for any amount of time, or listen to his sermons, you will surely hear about his English Bulldog named Butters. It is also highly likely that you may get to meet Butters the Baptist Bulldog at the church with Pastor Kenny.

Rev. Jim Hartman

Rev. Jim Hartman has been in the ministry almost 50 years. He has pastored churches in Ohio and Kentucky, and has served as the pastor of the General Baptist Church God’s House of Prayer. He is currently retired from pastoring, but still preaches the Gospel as often as possible. You can see him on Facebook Live, Twitter, and YouTube every Wednesday evening.

Brother Jim and his wife Shirley have been dedicated to the Baptist Churches in the Miami Valley for decades now, and show no signs of slowing down.

Rev. Mark VanHoose
